Good morning,
-Please find tonight's itinerary attached to
this email.
-Next Friday is Senior Recognition Night for the Band. More information to
follow soon.
-We began our Coke Fundraiser today. Please check out the attached information
sheet and order form. There are a few changes from previous years.
-Band Placement Auditions are coming up soon (week of 11/16). These auditions
will determine class placement for the spring semester.
-Thanks to all the parents who helped out at our Marching Contests this year.
Due to the way the calendar fell, it was a fast and crazy 11 days. The kids
performed great at every contest! Your help and support are greatly appreciated
by both the Band Staff and students.

-Here are the itineraries for the next four
events (tonight's fb game, Lone Star Preview Marching Contest, UIL, Homecoming
Parade).
-Next Week's Schedule:

Thurs 3:30 - 5:00
Fri Football Game (Post Game Performance)
-Thanks so much to all the parents who attended the Booster Meeting on Tuesday.
-We hope to see you at the contests tomorrow and Tuesday.
-The district has been having email issues (again!). Several web based email
servers have blocked Tomball ISD (Comcast, Yahoo, AOL, maybe others). If you
receive it, please forward this email to other Band parents. Hopefully the
district will get it straightened out soon.

Good morning,
A few items for you...
-Since we are anticipating rain today, this week's rehearsal schedule has been
changed slightly. Sorry for the short notice. Kids can, of course, stay at the
Band Hall until 6:30 today if need be. Here's our new schedule:
Tues 3:30 - 5:30
Wed 3:00 - 5:30
Thurs 3:00 - 5:30
Fri 2:45 - 3:45
-Booster Meeting tonight at 7:00 in the Band Hall. Hope to see you there.
-Thanks for all the support on Saturday. It was great to have all the parent
help and see all the Tomball fans in stands. It really helps the kids perform
better.

Good morning,
I apologize to those of you who do not have a child in the Band Program any
more. I have not updated my email list yet. However, you might want to check out
the section about the GOLF TOURNAMENT.
-SUMMER BAND begins on Monday (8/3) at 8:30AM. You should have received a Summer
Letter and Calendar in June. Please be sure your child is dressed for marching
band and brings a water jug.
-BAND REGISTRATION is Thursday (8/6) starting at 5:30PM. The process will be
very similar to years past. A few of the fees and prices have changed, but not
by much.
We are asking for some help from upperclassmen parents for that evening. If you
are able to help out (even for part of the night), please contact Linda Hudgins

-We are in need of a parent who can weld some castors onto some percussion
carts. If you can help us out, please let Mr. King know

-The Tomball High School Cougar Pride Band Golf Tournament will be on Saturday,
September 26th. Please see the attached documents for information about the
tournament and sponsorships. Please contact David Kwiatkowski with any questions

-FYI - If you have left me a message this summer, there is a chance I did not
get it. My voicemail has been acting weird all summer. Hopefully it will be
fixed soon. Sorry for the break in communication.

Good evening,
-Please find an updated End of Year Calendar attached to this email.
-We are currently working on a Fall Calendar. It will be mailed out in early
June. Summer Band will begin on August 3rd. Here is our tentative schedule.
August 3 - 7 8:30AM - 4:00PM
August 10 - 14 8:30AM - 4:00PM
August 18, 20, & 21 6:00PM - 8:30PM (master classes will be during this week as
well)
-Senior Parents: You and your child(ren) will be recognized at the Band Spring
Concert. Before the Wind Ensemble's last piece, all seniors will be announced
and will walk across the stage with their parents.
-The Band Banquet is for parents as well as students. Tickets will go on sale
later this week or on Monday.
We will need a few parents to help out that night. We are looking for some
underclassmen parents to help tear down the tables and chairs during the slide
show. We also are asking for some parents to stick around and chaperone the
dance until 11:00PM. If you are able to help out in one way or another, please
let Linda Hudgins know.
